The impressive memorial of the founder of the DOG, the German Society of Ophthalmology,

memorial was built by the sculptor Rudolf Leopold Siemering. It was originally positioned in the Charité´s garden which was von Graefe´s main place of work. Later the memorial was reestablished at its current location.
